Pancake Day
Play Out were very happy that it’s pancake Tuesday..
Today for pancake day the children went to the kitchen to make their very own pancakes.
The children helped Katherine measure the ingredients before pouring them in to the pan to cook, they then had a go at flipping the pancakes and spoke about their favourite toppings. What’s yours?
The children then got crafty and made their own craft pancake. They cut out circles and used different materials such as pens, paint and glue the children then decorated these. This activity allowed the children to use their imagination, deciding what they would have on theirs pancake. This encourages their fine motor and creativity.
