Eid Mubarak
The children at Play Out Ipswich have been busy learning and celebrating Eid Mubarak
The children at Play Out read stories about Eid and why it is celebrated. They learnt that Eid Mubarak is an Arabic term that means ‘Blessed Feast/Festival.
The children were able to try a range of foods such as, onion bhajis, samosas and a traditional cake which is used to celebrate Eid. The children were also lucky enough to try on some cloths which are worn throughout the celebration.
Rahena and Mariam (Play Out Staff) created some Henna on some of the children’s hands which looked beautiful.
