Celebrating Easter
The babies have been busy exploring activities around Easter..
The babies within the baby room have been busy creating their very own Easter chicks using glue tissue paper and coloured feathers.
The children were able to explore the sensory tray which was filled with plastic eggs, chicks and rice snaps inside. The children were able to copy words such as ‘chick’ and ‘egg’ whilst filling the inside of the eggs with the chicks.
Before snack time, the children gathered around the table to make some biscuits. The children were able to help measure the ingredients before tipping them into a large mixing bowl. Each child had the chance to use the rolling pin, alongside the circle cutter. An adult placed the biscuits into the oven then when able to,the children decorated their biscuit using yellow icing and Easter sprinkles.
What a eggcellent day the babies have had!
